Truck repair shop model start

This is the garage for the truck repair shop.  There will be two additional structures - an office and a supply storage shed.  I will then build some messed up trucks for the garage.

I don't plan to make doors for this but we will see.

Above is a view before I put on the roof.  You can see the shelves and workbench at the back and some details on the side.  The interior details are visible but don't show well in the first photo.

Above are the shelves and workbench before they were installed - all scratch built.

Above is a view of the front and you can barely see the interior details, but when I look at it in person I can see them.

Next I will build the office.

Cobbler shop model

My next model is a small cobbler shop - they repair shoes and boots.   There is a person sitting on a bench on the porch.  I made a few shoes and put them on a shelf inside the front window.  They do not show in this photo but can be slightly seen with in person viewing.

This was a simple model to build with the only difficult part being the roof shingles made from a commercial product consisting of very thin cedar shingles.

Mack tank truck model

While contemplating what to build next I constructed an old Jordan Products Mack tank truck kit.  As usual, while nicely detailed they are a pain to assemble.  This is actually the second of these tank trucks I have built.  It is slightly different from my first kit by details and paint.

I heavily weathered this truck.

I have decided on a new small structure to build so will now get started on that.
